sortedIndex

_.sortedIndex(value, array) # Ⓢ [Ⓣ][1] Ⓝ

Uses a binary search to determine the lowest index at which value



should be inserted into array in order to maintain its sort order.

  1. value (*): The value to evaluate.
  2. array (Array): The sorted array to inspect.

Returns​

(number): Returns the index at which value should be inserted



into array.

Example​

_.sortedIndex(40, [30, 50]);
// => 1
